There's something special about beginnings. They carry a spark, a quiet excitement, a sense of possibility, and the feeling that something meaningful is unfolding. Today, I'm so grateful to share the beginning of this blog with you, and to welcome you into the heart of Crafted by Nature Australia.
What started as a small idea on our off-grid hobby farm near Wyangala Dam NSW has grown into a space where sustainability, creativity and community come together. Surrounded by rescued animals, native wildlife and the gentle rhythm of the land, I felt called to create something that reflected the way I wanted to live: slower, more intentional, and connected to nature.
Why Crafted by Nature exists
Crafted by Nature Australia was born from a simple belief, that everyday essentials and beautiful gifts can be kind to both people and the planet. I wanted to curate products that were natural, ethical and thoughtfully made, while supporting Australian creators and small businesses who share those values.
Every item in the store is chosen with care:

A store built with love
Our physical store in Cowra is more than shelves and products. It's a dream built (quite literally!) by my fiancé, Todd, who constructed the space with patience, love and a whole lot of sawdust. Every beam and bench carries a story, and every corner reflects our values: natural textures, earthy tones and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Workshops, creativity and community
One of my greatest joys has been hosting workshops, from health professionals sharing their wisdom, to glass-painting afternoons, to candle-making sessions filled with laughter and creativity. These gatherings remind me why I started: to bring people together, to learn, to create, and to slow down.
